Our Programs
Rebuild Hope Texas Foundation provides targeted deductible assistance to low-income Texas homeowners who have experienced a covered insurance loss but cannot afford their insurance deductible.
We do not perform construction or rebuild homes ourselves. Instead, we bridge the financial gap that prevents families from accessing the insurance coverage they already carry. By covering a portion of the deductible and paying it directly to verified contractors upon completion of work, we unlock the remaining insurance funds needed to restore safe housing.
Our programs are designed to preserve dignity, protect independence, and strengthen community resilience.
Senior Citizens Assistance Program
Older homeowners living on fixed incomes are especially vulnerable when disaster strikes. Rising insurance deductibles can delay critical repairs and threaten housing stability.
This program supports qualifying homeowners age 65 and older who have an approved insurance claim but cannot afford their deductible.
Program Goal
Help seniors remain safely and independently in their homes by activating insurance-funded repairs.
Who It Serves
• Owner-occupied Texas homeowners
• Age 65+
• Approved covered insurance claim
• Demonstrated financial hardship
• Meet income eligibility guidelines
What It Provides
Partial deductible assistance paid directly to the contractor after verified completion of work.
Veterans Assistance Program
Veterans and surviving spouses often rely on fixed retirement or disability income. When faced with high deductibles after a covered loss, even insured damage can become a financial crisis.
This program honors service by protecting housing stability for eligible veteran homeowners.
Program Goal
Preserve safe housing and independence for those who served.
Who It Serves
• Owner-occupied Texas homeowners
• Verified veteran or surviving spouse
• Approved covered insurance claim
• Demonstrated financial hardship
• Meet income eligibility guidelines
What It Provides
Deductible gap assistance issued directly to the contractor upon completion and verification.
Family Stability Program
Working families may carry homeowners insurance but lack the savings required to meet rising percentage-based deductibles. Without help, repairs may be delayed, creating prolonged unsafe living conditions.
This program supports qualifying homeowner families facing deductible barriers after a covered loss.
Program Goal
Unlock insurance-funded repairs and restore safe, stable housing.
Who It Serves
• Owner-occupied Texas homeowners
• Approved covered insurance claim
• Demonstrated financial hardship
• Meet income eligibility guidelines
What It Provides
Partial deductible assistance paid directly to the contractor after verified completion of work.
How Our Model Works
The homeowner files an insurance claim.
The claim is approved as a covered loss.
The deductible creates a financial barrier.
The Foundation verifies eligibility.
Insurance releases remaining funds after deductible is calculated to complete restoration.
Deductible assistance is paid directly to the contractor after work is completed.
By focusing specifically on deductible gaps, we maximize impact. A relatively small intervention activates significantly larger insurance-funded repairs.
Important Notes
• Assistance is limited to covered insurance claims.
• Funds are never paid directly to applicants.
• Routine maintenance and uninsured damage are not eligible.
• Applications are subject to available funding.
• Detailed eligibility criteria are applied during the review process.
